Slate Real Estate Advisors is excited to share our latest property staging & styling collaboration with Guest House.

Slate was engaged to exclusively list and market seven newly constructed homes on a quiet cul-de-sac in Denver’s Historic Whittier. With just one of the seven completed, an opportunity presented itself to stage the property at 3118 Humboldt in a highly thoughtful way, so that those who visited and toured the home could understand the possibilities found across all seven. The homes were each designed in the modern tradition by Christian Butler of Studio Limited, in association with Arizona based architect Michael P. Johnson.  With spaces that are bright, white, open and inviting, we realized that we had the ultimate blank canvas for bringing these spaces to life with quality design products and home furnishings, which is why we decided to work again with Alex Ryden and Guest House to realize our vision for this staging project.

At Slate Real Estate Advisors we welcome collaborations like this, as it allows us to push the envelope on what it means to furnish and market a property. You can learn more on why this is of great interest to us, and read about our past staging projects by clicking here.

Local creative and entrepreneur, Alex Ryden, founded Guest House in 2016. Alex has a natural knack for identifying products and brands that bring genuine, simple beauty to home goods and furnishings, including chairs, ceramics, candles and other items we use in our everyday lives.  Along with with Slate REA’s Jorgen Jensen, they worked to bring these living spaces to life and artfully style the homes prior to being photographed by one of Colorado’s top architectural and interior photographers, JC Buck. www.JCBuck.com

Series 01 of 07 in the CANVAS, Series of Homes was staged with products that can be purchased and shipped directly to your doorstep. We’ve invited the Denver community into these homes through open houses and events to allow them to shop in the comforts of a home. We had a ton of fun in the process and as a result we’ve had a chance to connect with a number of both local and international brands that we absolutely love, including THE CITIZENRY, ferm LIVING, Housefish, Color Cord Company, Hygge Life, Native + Nomad, YIELD, Age Carriers, TANU Textiles, Salamat Ceramics and Jorgensen Stoneware.   Check www.GuestHouseShop.com for more information

Stop by and have a look for yourself! On June 22nd from 5-9PM we are hosting a reception for the brand partners who participated in this project.

A collaboration such as this only becomes more exciting when given the chance to engage our favorite photographers to shoot the products that we’ve filled these brilliant and incredible spaces with. For the CANVAS Series of Homes Guest House has engaged Tanner Cindric (www.tannercindric.com) to capture beautiful images that highlight our furnishings and brand partners. You can see his work below, and can shop any products pictured by visiting, www.GuestHouseShop.com.

We know that staging a property in a more thoughtful and intentional way leads to a superior experience for all who tour the property, and allows the photographers to capture the home in a more stylized manner This leads to more powerful imagery, better marketing opportunities and ultimately, higher prices for our client’s real estate. Plus, it makes our job a whole lot more fun in the process!
