Graphic Design Partner | Now Now
After graduating from Iowa State College of Design, Adam worked as a package designer providing solutions for clients such as HON, Herman Miller, and Samuel Adams. With college friend John Solarz, he developed visuals for audio/video installations at The Art Center and performed live at the 80-35 Music Festival.
He joined Eight Seven Central in 2010 to focus on identity and branding efforts that would complement production capabilities. Through the design perspective of empathy and adaptability, he established relationships with influential architects, developers, brewers, distillers, creatives, restaurants, distributors, music directors, and manufacturers. While Adam was at Eight Seven Central, he was the brand design lead for The Foundry. This unique development was Jorgen Jensen’s vision. The Foundry at Valley Junction is an 1890’s railcar barn and iron Foundry, reclaimed as a distillery, food + beverage hall, commissary kitchen, and place to connect.
In 2019, Adam joined Now Now. Established by John Solarz in 2015, they are an independent design studio and Shopify Expert located in Des Moines, Iowa.
Now Now’s passion is helping small businesses build meaningful relationships with their audiences through thoughtful brand development, web design, and ongoing support. They approach projects holistically and partner with clients long-term.
When he’s not focused on elevating brands, you can find him working in his yard. His 1960’s mid-century home was built by a former editor of Better Homes & Gardens. He and his wife Hillary, enjoy spending time with their two children, Azure and Zayn.
