Founded in 1993, Arch11 is recognized for precision, craft and a modern sensibility that anchors buildings to their sites; heightening the experience of materials and place. The firm designs solutions specific to place, purpose and client. Based in both Boulder and Denver, Arch11 is skilled at developing projects with ‘impossible’ sites, budgets and structural parameters, while meeting the goals of diverse clients. They’re uniquely able to work between the intimate scale of the bespoke home and the complexity of a corporate headquarters, bringing care and craft to each.
Arch 11 believes sustainable design principles and strong technical proficiency embedded into their projects sets them apart, not just the creative and functional environments they deliver.
BOSS.architecture is a multi-disciplinary design firm, with a focus on full service architecture and interiors based in Denver, Colorado.
The firm focuses on crafting timeless, modern solutions that are project, client, and context specific.
They don’t claim to be specialists in specific project types, but rather specialists in a collaborative design process:
…in listening, synthesizing, and exploring…
…in identifying what is special about a project…
…in questioning conventional assumptions…
…and in recognizing the unexpected opportunities
hidden within constraints.
Built X Design
The name BUILT x DESIGN or ‘Built by Design’ came from the harsh reality that too many homes are constructed without enough thought given to their design. Even in the field of design build, many firms are led by the ‘build’ and not the ‘design’. BUILT x DESIGN is a design led design build practice, it might seem subtle but when each and every portion of a project is BUILT with the full DESIGN intent, the results are truly custom, entirely unique, and show the careful thought process behind every detail. Commitment to craft and a ‘we design everything’ approach is at the heart of their practice.
